Hey there! I’m Sarah, the cook/baker/photographer behind Thyme to Eat. Although born and raised in So Cal, my heart and soul are in Nor Cal. I live in the beautiful Bay Area with my techie husband and two little boys. Feeding my family and friends is my passion. When I’m not chasing after my two monkeys, you can find me daydreaming, on Pinterest, or in my kitchen. 🙂
About the Blog
My love of cooking started when I was about twelve. I would watch my aunt cook and carefully observe her methods. Eventually, her passion rubbed off on me. I started this blog to chronicle my adventures in cooking and share my successes with you. Yes, behind the scenes I have many failed attempts at cooking and baking, but that won’t stop me from going back and trying new things. My hope is to inspire you to be fearless in your kitchen, all while having fun!
About My Photography
All of the photography featured on the blog is my own, unless otherwise noted. I consider myself a true beginner in food photography and aspire to improve with each and every attempt. Hopefully, over time, you’ll be able to see some improvement! I am self-taught and use a 7 year old Canon XSi Rebel. You can find the rest of the contents of my humble camera bag here.
